Community Bible reading sessions
The Gospel of Mark
On Sunday afternoons we are holding an open Bible reading session at the Greenmeadows Centre in Stoke. Members of the public are welcome to join us as we read and discuss God’s word the Bible.
This is a relaxed and informal environment that encourages ‘back to basics’ Bible reading and where people are free to ask questions. We will have Bibles available for you to use. Tea/coffee and biscuits provided.

Aliens in the Bible
Humans have always wondered what lies beyond the edge of our knowledge. Across the decades we have spent hundreds of millions of dollars on bizarre projects such as the ‘Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence’. Unsurprisingly, we haven’t found it yet.
Somehow the hunt for ‘aliens’ is an idea which many people find appealing, and several investigators have turned toward history to try and find out whether ancient civilizations ever made contact with ‘aliens’.
It may surprise you to hear that ‘aliens’ are mentioned in the Bible! … just maybe not in a way that you might expect.

We have given two seminars where we explore the structure and symbols of the Book of Revelation, so that you can better understand as you read.
In the first seminar we look at the structure of the book, and in the second we explore the symbols contained within it.
